libgoocanvas-2.0-9 software package provides canvas widget for GTK+ that uses the cairo 2D library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgoocanvas-2.0-9
libgoocanvas-2.0-9 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgoocanvas-2.0-9 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgoocanvas-2.0-9 *
